Results for the LISS panel Grant and for MAG 2025-2 are now available. The LISS panel grant offers financing for data collection via the LISS panel, and through this opportunity, scientists receive free panel time to field their own questions or experiments. The Microdata Access Grant (MAG) gives recipients free access to CBS microdata, as well as up to €7,500 in financial support per project.

This year’s LISS panel Grant awarded seven projects out of forty-eight applications. The recipients will make innovative use of the longitudinal data to explore how people adapt to a changing society, exploring topics such as public preferences for wealth taxation or how people interpret and experience discrimination. This round of the LISS Panel Grant also offered a unique opportunity for researchers to combine LISS Panel data with the digital trace data of panel participants. One project was granted free access to CBS microdata, which will be linked to the LISS Panel data once it has been collected and made available. Both data sources will then be analysed together, expanding the scope and depth of the research. To learn about all the awarded projects of the LISS panel Grant 2025, follow this link. MAG 2025-2 funds six projects that make use of CBS microdata to address pressing social challenges across the life course. The selected studies range from mapping the life paths of transgender and gender-diverse people to understanding how leadership diversity shapes migrant labour-market outcomes.
