On 1 September 2020, ODISSEI welcomed two Community Managers: Suze Zijlstra and Eva Heitbrink. They are responsible for maintaining contacts with (potential) ODISSEI users.
They will organise events, among which is the yearly ODISSEI community conference, which will take place online this year. Additionally, they will take care of the external communication, such as the ODISSEI newsletter and website. They will also be coordinating ODISSEI’s educational program.
Suze Zijlstra obtained her PhD in history at the University of Amsterdam, after which she conducted postdoc research at Georgetown University (Washington, DC). Before joining ODISSEI, she worked as assistant professor at Leiden University.
Eva Heitbrink joined ODISSEI as part of the Leiden Delft Erasmus Traineeship. She obtained her MSc in Politics and Society at Erasmus University after completing a BA in Political Science. Before she started the LDE Traineeship, she was a junior researcher at RSM and PEP Den Haag.
