Join us for the monthly Data Drop-in by the ODISSEI Social Data Science (SoDa) team. These informal question sessions are a great opportunity to ask all your data-related questions that may come up in research projects.
Any questions surrounding data in social science are welcome. Some questions that may come up are:
- What is computer vision and how can I use it for data collection?
- How can I scrape data from social media for my research question?
- How do I set up my research project to follow reproducibility standards?
You can send your questions in advance to firstname.lastname@example.org, or you can ask them during the Data Drop-in.
The next session will take place online via Zoom on Monday 20 September, 2021, from 15:00 to 16:00. The Zoom link to access the session is: https://zoom.us/j/92762897231. In October, the session will also take place on the 20th.
Who are we?
The ODISSEI Social Data Science (SoDa) team exists to support social scientists in their research projects. Researchers from ODISSEI member organisations can propose research projects for which our computational, statistical, and research engineering skills will help answer questions which would otherwise remain unanswered.
