The FAIR Expertise Hub and ODISSEI organise the Seminar FAIR data infrastructures for the SSH on February 13th, 2025, from 10 to 17 in Utrecht. Over the last three years, the PDI-SSH FAIR Expertise Hub has been in contact with different data providers in the Dutch SSH landscape. Two main bottlenecks emerged in terms of FAIR implementation:
- Many SSH data providers rely on platforms/workflows chosen for sharing (meta)data for their FAIR implementation choices, but these implementation choices are often implicit;
- The shortage of FAIR semantic resources to adequately represent the content of the data to facilitate meaningful data linkage across data sources.
During the seminar, these two findings will be discussed by means of presentations and use cases in the morning, and two hands-on sessions participants can choose from in the afternoon.
