ODISSEI-SoDa in collaboration with SURF, organises the workshop on Cluster computing for social scientists with R. The workshop takes place at SURF Amsterdam VK1/2, on the 16th of February, from 9.00-17.00 hours.

This workshop focuses on the basics of supercomputing. The day starts with an introduction to supercomputer architecture, including a hands-on session focused on running jobs on a supercomputer. Topics covered in this workshop include efficient programming, parallel computing, and using the SLURM job manager to send your job/analysis to the supercomputer.
