LISS panel access

The LISS panel consists of about 5,000 households, comprising of about 7,500 individuals. It is based on a true probability sample of households drawn from the population register by CBS.

Employees of ODISSEI member organisations receive a discount when using the LISS panel for collecting new data or conducting experiments. Please contact Boukje Cuelenaere, head of department Survey Research at Centerdata, for more information.

Next to this, ODISSEI regularly opens calls to place content on the panel for free. The submissions are assessed by an independent and interdisciplinary committee.

2022 LISS panel grant Call for Proposals and information event

The 2022 ODISSEI LISS panel grant call has just opened. The full guidelines for this call can be found via the button to the right. The call closes on 23 September, 2022, 15.00 hours

On Thursday 2 June, 13.00-15.00, ODISSEI and Centerdata organise an information event, during which researchers can learn more about working with the LISS panel, inlucing, the possibilities of linkage of the LISS panel data with the administrative data of CBS (Statistics Netherlands) and the methodological innovations that are possible in the LISS panel. The conditions of the call and an example of the research conducted with the support of the LISS panel grant will also be presented.

Earlier rounds and previously granted projects 

ODISSEI has been offering the LISS panel grants since 2018. In this period, three regular and one specific corona-related grant were launched and in total, 37 regular LISS panel grants and 2 corona grants were awarded. In each call round, ODISSEI receives between 30 to 40 applications. Short descriptions of the awarded projects can be found on our website: for grants awarded in 2021, 2020, 2019 and 2018, respectively.
