LISS panel access
The LISS panel consists of about 5,000 households, comprising of about 7,500 individuals. It is based on a true probability sample of households drawn from the population register by CBS.
Employees of ODISSEI member organisations receive a discount when using the LISS panel for collecting new data or conducting experiments. Please contact Boukje Cuelenaere, head of department Survey Research at CentERdata, for more information.
Besides, ODISSEI regularly opens calls to place content on the panel for free. The submissions are assessed by an independent and interdisciplinary commmittee.
2021 LISS Grant
The 2021 ODISSEI LISS grant call is now open. The deadline for submitting proposals is 23 September 23:59 C(E)ST. Download the full guidelines for this call. In September, the 2020 round of the LISS-call closed. In this round 28 proposals were submitted, of which 9 were awarded.
In April 2020, an extra LISS call aimed at researching the corona virus, closed. There were 43 submissions, of which two could be financed.
In 2019 for the second time, researchers affiliated to one of the ODISSEI member organisations were invited to submit a proposal to collect data in the LISS Panel. In total 39 proposals were submitted, a noteworthy increase in comparison to the 2018 Call. The proposals were evaluated by a committee that consisted of Ineke Stoop, Gerbert Kraaykamp, Joop van Holsteyn, Peer Scheepers, Bella Struminskaya, Peter Lugtig, Annemarie Koster and Tom van der Meer. In total 10 proposals were awarded.
In 2018, nine projects were awarded free time in the LISS panel. There were 31 applications, suggesting great interest in this data collection method. The committee that evaluated the 2018 applications consisted of the following members: Wouter van der Brug, Peer Scheepers, Arthur van Soest, Ineke Stoop and Rolf van der Velden.
