ODISSEI SoDa team organises an in-person workshop for researchers interested in learning how to work efficiently with the Statistics Netherlands microdata in the remote access environment. The workshop is designed for users who just got access, as well as those who would like to improve the reproducibility and efficiency of their projects.

The workshop will take place at Utrecht University, Administration building, room “Van Lier & Eggink” on the 19th of April (13:30-16:30), and is free of charge to ODISSEI members (but subject to availability). The application deadline is the 5th of April, 15.00 CEST.

In this workshop, the SoDa team will teach you how to work efficiently with the Statistics Netherlands microdata on the remote access environment. You will learn:
– how to organize your projects,
– how to create efficient and legible R* programs, and
– how to retrieve, store, and configure your data pipelines so that your research project is reproducible and easy to understand.

The workshop will be interactive, consisting of a 2 hour plenary session with instruction, as well as a 1 hour consultation session where specific questions will be answered in smaller groups. During sign-up, you can indicate what kind of questions you have!

*Researchers working in other languages than R are also very welcome — the principles from this workshop hold in any language.
