ODISSEI is looking for a Data Manager for its Coordination Team, to support ODISSEI users (researchers and data providers) to make their research results FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable). You will work with users in all stages of their research process, specifically data collection, data cleaning and data archiving. This means that you will have a lot of contact with users, and you will contribute to implementing ODISSEI’s User Policy. As this is a new position, it includes significant freedom and flexibility in the execution of responsibilities. The application deadline is 22 June 2021.
ODISSEI Social Data Science Team (SoDa) is seeking an Assistant Professor Social Data Science to expand their services. The position is located in Utrecht University. You will aid social scientists at Dutch universities by providing data science, machine learning, computational social science advice, as well as research engineering software skills. Being part of the SoDa team means collaborating with sociologists, economists, psychologists, and other social scientists to answer research questions which can only be answered with computational methods. Teaching at the Department of Methodology and Statistics (in the Applied Data Science programme) is also a part of the appointment. The application deadline is 28 June 2021.
