In October, the ODISSEI Secure Supercomputer (OSSC) was officially launched. After the execution of many tests and security checks, the OSSC is now ready for use.
The OSSC, developed with SURF and Statistics Netherlands (CBS), offers researchers the opportunity to work with CBS-microdata on a large scale under strict security conditions. The Secure Supercomputer has very strong computing powers to execute complex calculations at an unprecedented speed. The secure environment also offers the opportunity to enter a researcher’s own data.
