ODISSEI is hosting The Future of Secure Data Sharing event on the 5th of June, 2024, 09.00-13.30, focusing on legislative implications and innovation opportunities for research following the introduction of the European Data Governance Act and Data Act. These two acts are expected to significantly affect research and the event will explore how precisely the two acts will influence the secure sharing of sensitive data. Questions to which the event will seek an answer include: What is a data altruism organisation? Can companies be enforced to share data? Which infrastructure will be needed to facilitate such sensitive data sharing?
The main language will be Dutch and the event will take place at Congresgebouw De Vereeniging in Utrecht.
